Back in 2009 there was a guy, who called himself PLR Boy, producing a series of PLR WordPress blogs and named it “Niche blogger series“. It was a good product and really helped many people who wanted to quickly start a niche specific blog.
We obtained all four series – from nichebloger 1-4. Unfortunately, the original developer seemed to have stop updating the blogs especially the theme design. Outdated plugins are also not updated or replaced. In a fast changing internet applications and software, old and outdated theme and plugins usually causes bugs and site errors which brings headaches to the new site owner.
Here’s some of the changes made including added features:
- Changed the old Lifestyle theme into a new and easy to use premium theme. The theme can now be automatically updated inside the WordPress admin.
- Cleaned all posts and removed unnecessary links.
- Changed theme colors and design.
- Changed the slider images and even the thumbnails. Images can now be easily replaced using the “Featured Image” box under post writing/editing page.
- Updated WordPress version and old plugins. Also removed unnecessary plugins.
- Changed affiliate products that are no longer existing on Clickbank.
- Edited logo and favicon. You can now quickly change default logo and favicon using WordPress customizer.
- Included new legal pages such as privacy policy, disclosure policy, and terms of service. Old blogs didn’t have these important pages.
- Integrated an easy to use theme panel. This means you can now easily change colors, fonts, site layout, and even site width.
